A collection of the writings of Dr. Dietrich F. Seidel, compiled and edited by Dr. Jennifer P. Tanabe. Dietrich Seidel was born in Austria during World War II and trained as a scientist in Vienna. Raised Catholic he later converted to Unificationism and never lost his faith in God, a faith which guided his life and illuminates his work. This selection reflects Dr. Seidel’s ability to unify and harmonize even those apparently at odds, such as science and religion and his specialty—married couples in need of counseling. In his writings on marriage and family enrichment readers will find practical advice on improving their relationship with their spouse, child rearing, making God central to their family and finding true love, all presented in an enjoyable and easy to read style. Other articles show a more scholarly form and topic, such as human nature and the love of God. Reflective pieces on his experiences as a Unificationist are also included in this collection.

This volume contains sermons by Dr. Dietrich F. Seidel, theologian and marriage and family counselor. Although raised Catholic and a convert to Unificationism, Dr. Seidel's insights are not limited to a particular religion but rather focus on bringing God into our daily lives. The reader will find here valuable spiritual guidance that can inform, inspire, and enlighten us all as to how to make our daily lives more meaningful, more successful, more loving, and closer to GodÕs original ideal for humankind.
A memoir of Elisabeth Seidel's life, including stories from her childhood in the French Alps, her search for a better life, finding the Unification Church, and meeting her husband with whom she spent forty years on this earth experiencing the true love of God. These stories of Elisabeth's life include journal entries, reflections, prayers, reports, letters and poems. There is beauty in all her writings. There are also deep insights into God's providence and how the love of God reaches each person here on earth and in the eternal realm.
This book introduces the reality of the spirit world and how to best prepare ourselves for our eternal life there. It contains philosophical and theological background to our understanding of the spiritual realm; numerous testimonies from near-death experiences that affirm the continued existence of the spirit after the death of the physical body; practical information on life in the spirit world; and messages from those who have ascended to their loved ones remaining on earth.
This volume is in the form of letters, written in English by Dietrich Seidel (whose native language is German) and his wife Elisabeth (whose native language is French) during various periods over the course of their four decades of married life when they were separated from each other. Many are pure love letters, while others include practical matters of concern while their spouse was far away. The final entry is a letter written by Elisabeth to her beloved Dietrich after he transitioned into the next world.
“Stories to Nourish the Heart” is a compilation of the reflections that Elisabeth Seidel wrote for her blog during the period following the spring of 2018 until the end of 2021. They are insights from her life, a life of faith and service to others, to those she has embraced as her extended family, her “tribe.” This family is not limited to her hometown (and in fact she counts several places as her hometown), to her native country, to her husband’s native country, to the country of her children’s birth, or to her adopted country of America; Elisabeth’s heart embraces people the world over as God’s children, children of our one Heavenly Parent. Here she shares life experiences that have nourished her heart.
Dietrich Seidel dedicated much of his life to studying and developing Unification Theology, which is based on revelation received by Sun Myung Moon. Although Dietrich's physical life ended before he could create this publication, his colleague, Jennifer Tanabe, recovered his lectures, which form the foundation and framework for this book. More than theological expertise alone, it takes heart to understand God. These authors' insights and reflections on Unification Theology presented in this book come not just from the hard work of their intellect, but more subtly and quietly through that small voice that speaks to the heart; that voice that reveals the heart of God. For it is through the eyes of the heart that we most clearly see our way, our purpose, and what we must do to restore this world to the original ideal of creation. The reader is invited to join the authors on this quest to see the world through the eyes of the heart, and in so doing to experience the true love of God.
